The sad thing about finishing a school year? Saying bye to all your friends that are going abroad. And then wondering why you aren’t. Oh yeah, thats riiight! Mom was scared I was going to get dangerously ill because she heard from her friend’s cousin’s friend’s mom’s sister (or someone) that her daughter went abroad, got seriously ill and the lady had to bring the hospital an enormous sum of cash and had to take days off work. My mom found all this out after I mentioned studying abroad…30 minutes later. She has connections. But guys, I feel that you should go if you want to. It’s too late for me, I’ll need to try again some other time, but YOU! You people with so much ambition (or hunger for foreign foods) must PLAN AHEAD! Do it! My buddy Sylvia just signed up for Scottland and didn’t tell her mother until last month. I think her mom is still recovering from shock though…

And I know many of you guys, high school graduates, just want to chillax and bum around until college starts. That’s bad. How do I know? I want to do that, and I’m lazy, so I KNOW it’s bad. It’s all good to have fun and all, but think of stuff to do that’ll be productive. For you UC students in California, take community college courses so you get a head start on those general education requirements. Get a job to save up for those college books because my heart physically hurts whenever I look into my wallet now. Me? I just went to the Boardwalk in Santa Cruz (see pictures) and I think it was time well spent. Relaxation is NEEDED in the summer…because YOU’RE GOING TO DIE DURING THE SCHOOL YEAR! AHAHAHHAHA! No, not really…unless you have bad time management skills like me.

By the way, please buy a surge protector for your computer. You’ll need it in the school year…it’ll prevent you from having your power supply blow and your comp break down when you need it. Trust me, my brother’s crying from boredom because that happened to him and he can’t play Tera Online…
