College means everything to me, it means I will be able to get a good job in my future which will allow me to provide for my family, and also give back to those who have helped me get to the position I’m in. College means gaining experience on important topics such as college life, applications, and scholarships. Growing up this experience wasn’t available to me; no one in my family has completed college. When I became a senior I had no idea what I was even doing, and I couldn’t ask any of my siblings for help as they wouldn’t be able to answer my many questions. With this experience, I’ll be able to help my younger brother whenever he gets to this stage in his life so he won’t have to be as confused as I once was.
