Well, hello world. Welcome to the scholastic world of Joey Lynn. I warn you, the things you read here may be scary, unbelievable, or simply sound like downright foolishness. However, if you bear with me, I assure you that I will do my best to draw a realistic picture of college, what I did to get here, and how I’m going to survive the next four years. First things will, obviously, come first. So, here goes.
To begin with, congratulations on making it this far in high school. I know a large amount of people, perhaps too many, that did not make it to their senior year. The truth of the matter is, high school is rough. The workload may be small, the classes are much easier than you think, but that does not cancel out the fact that right now, at this very moment, you are probably going through one of the roughest years of your life. You know what, though? It’s going to be alright. It’s that simple. Above all things, in this moment of your life, you need to sit back, take a breath, and smile. Why, you may ask? Because you’re here. You have arrived. This is the year you have been waiting for. So, go out, and kick some major A’s…and by that, I mean ace those AP tests.
P.S.-I have a terrible problem with being very “corny” and “cheesy,” as people say. Please, try and ignore this flaw of mine.
