Finally, finals are over!
After a semester of trials and tribulations, college students across the nation are tested with this final obstacle. We are asked to demonstrate everything we have learned over the past 4 months—everything from the study sessions in the library, the late night cramming sessions and the 8 AM lectures.
Understandably, this can be one of the most stressful times of the year. More stressful than figuring out what to get your mom for Christmas! More stressful than the biggest football game of the year! Finals are their own level of stress, truly. Granted, finals can be terrible but there are little feelings that compare to circling the last answer choice on the last exam that you have to take! Take a deep breath… You did it!
We did it! We all have made it through this first semester. Take a second (or a month, depending on how long of a break you have) and breathe. Pat yourself on the back because what we are doing is not to be taken lightly. All of the hard work that we are putting into our education today will come to fruition in the upcoming years. And it will be excellent.
Until then, like I said earlier, take some time to breathe. You did a lot of great work this past semester and you deserve it… Plus, you have to recharge if you’re gonna do it all again next semester!!!
