The last semester of senior year of high school is one of the most fun times ever. You are about to graduate, most people have already gotten accepted into college, now you just have to cruise through the rest of high school. When I was a senior, I just kicked back and relaxed the last semester. I didn’t study insanely hard for tests and pulled out mostly B’s and 1 or 2 C’s. I was just focusing on graduation, not even thinking about maintain my GPA. But, the truth is you can’t completely blow off the last semester of high school. Collages still look at your last semester grades and will sometimes unaccept you or take away scholarships depending on how bad your GPA slipped. You can still enjoy last semester and have tons of fun, but you still have to focus on school.
For me, the hardest part was getting myself to study and keep my grades up when I’d rather be out with my friends or partying. What I did was start off strong so I have some flexibility. The start of the semester is the easiest so just try to get good grades on everything at the beginning so towards the end you can relax in a few classes because your grade is high enough to be ok. Secondly, just knock out all your homework and studying as soon as you can and not procrastinate. The sooner you get stuff done, the sooner you can be out with your friends and hang out. You can slack off to a certain degree, but you still have to put your grades first and maintain around the same GPA you usually have.
