No one in my family, immediate or otherwise has ever been to college. Many of them have struggled to find jobs including my own parents. From early on my parents stressed the importance of going to college and furthering my education.
To me college means a better future for not only myself but my children when I choose to have them because hopefully I’ll be able to provide them a better, easier life than I had. To me college is hope, and I am happy to say that I’ve recently been accepted into the University of Cincinnati, so I am on my way to fulfilling my dream.
