This time around, college students are 90{53c6eff5ce19621f7316832cfedf08caab022021f1679c62c3f44b8900ceaf72} of the airport population! I’m sitting in the airport at this moment (Denver!) and looking around at the stuffed backingpacking routines and carry on luggage stress. I’m en route back to Seattle to drive back to Walla Walla–about a 5 hour drive. At the beginning of this little trek, my bag popped a zipper. I didnt have enough time to run to the store to grab another but my sister lent me hers I didn’t include that possibility in the original plan and could have been in a pretty big pinch if my sister didn’t come to the rescue. Prepare now! don’t rely on pre-college luggage or duffles here and there. Get yoursef a system and learn to pack smart. All the technique: rolling, stuffing, layering. My sister had to give me a couple packing classes.
The college jitters create the motivation to really figure out what you’re going to need. But during those breaks home or traveling with friends, having the pace and know-how to pack efficiently can make getting to and from school relatively easy. Then comes the trnasportation away car pooling to the airport and everything. Colleges can have listserves to find rides wth fellow students going back in the direction of the college. Apart from the academic fiasco, travel specs are important to keep in mind! get some practice from overnight stays for second visits and prospective tours. Good luck!
