Have you ever seen life as being this journey in which you educate yourself in order to educate or help others? If so, what a great start! When I was younger I remember wanting to be a lot of things. I wanted to be a pediatrician, a veterinarian, a writer, a singer, a photographer, a teacher, etc. But as I developed, I figured that I couldn’t be all things. I had to choose and pick one field of study. This way I could become a better professional and not be all over the place. This is not to say people shouldn’t explore other fields, of course, they can. But in my case, narrowing down my field of study has allowed me to enjoy the knowledge that I acquire now. Finding out that I am passionate about psychology and that it is something that I can see myself doing for the rest of my life has helped me want to further my studies and embrace each and every part of it — and to be honest, I think that that’s what undergraduate studies are about. A taste of different classes to help you determine what you are really passionate about and go on from there 🙂
