This year’s spring break came very early for ISU but was extraordinarily rejuvenating and welcomed. The past few years over spring break I have gone on Alternative Spring Breaks to give back to the community and travel around different states. This year however I was excited to just stay home and catch up on some sleep! It has been a very busy semester and having that extra time at home helped me get some work done! It also allowed me plenty of time to catch up with some friends and on some TV shows that I haven’t had time to watch. I did take a mini trip up to Chicago to do a little thrift shopping in Wicker Park, where they have a ton of secondhand clothing stores that have great finds. I loved being home and seeing my family before I make a decision on where I want to go for graduate school since I may not be able to travel to them as easily. I haven’t been able to get home very much this semester because of work/school, so it was nice to get to spend time with my brothers playing video games and dress shopping with my mom. Overall, even though my break wasn’t very eventful it gave me the motivation to come back and finish the year off strong!
