My name is Jasmine and I’m first!
Not only am I beyond excited to attend my first year of college, I’m so proud to say I get to be the first generation of my family. College has always been a goal of mine since childhood. The most important influence in my life would have to be my grandma, the sweetest person you’ll ever meet. After her fight with pancreas cancer it pushed me throughout high school to graduate, and study oncology in the future for her. She may not be here today to witness me walk across the stage, regardless I know I’ve made it. Through the thick and thin I will continue to keep pushing to pursue my dreams of becoming a doctor to help people with all kinds of stories just like my own.
