I’m Chelsea and I’m first. I hail from Trenton, NJ and am an alumna of Princeton University Preparatory Program (PUPP), an academic and cultural enrichment program for low-income, high-achieving students from 3 school districts in New Jersey. I graduated from Howard University in 2011.
To all of the students aiming to be the first in their family to go to and graduate from college, keep your eyes on the prize. Be sure to work hard and find people around you that will be willing to support you in your journey. It will all be worth it in the end.
