Senior year is halfway done, but are those college applications? Remember that although these essays may take forever to write, know that they are all worth it. Of course, it is a struggle to begin writing a paper, but sometimes you got to think back and ask yourself “Why do I want to go here? Who/what motivated me? What do I want to major in and why?”. Simple questions like that can help ponder ideas and offer more feeling into your paper. Everyone is different and wants to pursue a variety of career paths, so try to understand what you want and help yourself get to that point. Something I did while writing my applications, I thought about what is something people haven’t said before; what makes you, YOU? Everybody has a story to tell, and it is your chance to let the admission committee know why you’re amazing and why they should be happy to have you on their campus. Understand that writing does take some time and patience; so don’t overwhelm yourself; take breaks occasionally just in case you’re drain. Have family, friends and teachers to look over your papers and hopefully they can give some insightful advice to make them even better. You’re almost there, don’t let anything get in your way. You got this!
