First of all, I am so thankful to have had an opportunity to apply for this scholarship. This is an amazing program and I continue to benefit from it. The CSO scholarship has helped my dreams come true because it allowed me to actually consider college. There was no way I would be able to afford college if I didn’t hear about this scholarship. As a Hispanic female who comes from a financially unstable background college was a distant dream. Since I’ve won the scholarship I’ve been able to kick-start my dreams!!
CSO means the world to me. It was the basis for my continual success at Illinois Wesleyan University. As the first person to attend college in my family it was a big relief to know there was a foundation that wanted to help students succeed. Everyone should continue to support this wonderful foundation. It’s amazing to know that there are people who actually care about seeing people go to college.- not just the really smart people, or the people from the suburbs, but EVERYONE. CSO has truly blessed my life.
