Hey guys! How are you doing? I hope that everything is well and that you are ready for the holidays 🙂

Although Thanksgiving has already passed, I wanted to make a blog in relation to it. Ever since three years ago, I have been of the thought that regardless of undergoing hard or non-worrying  situations, one should ALWAYS be thankful. As the year ends, I  just want to remind ourselves that we need to be thankful about everything that we have or have had, on the daily basis. It does not matter whether is good or bad, in the long-run, it will all come in handy.

I am personally thankful for every person that I have met in my life (especially those who remain by my side such as family, friends, mentors, and brethren). I am thankful for being able to attend college, and having people who support me emotionally, and economically through scholarships. But I am also thankful for the struggles and tears that have helped me grow as a person. I am truly thankful for the life that I have been given and for God laying His eyes upon me and allowing me to experience all the pain that I have endured in order to grow in faith, in my academics, and as a person.

Overall, I know I am in debt with God first and foremost and with the people that have helped me get this far in life and college. Thus, I am seeking for ways to give back, but is not as easy as one thinks. Yet, I will keep trying!!! I cannot wait for the day to culminate my career to begin helping people more directly.

But what about you? What are you thankful for?

Sincerely,
Brenda
