angelica-85Hi, everyone. I hope everyone had a great summer and a terrific beginning of the semester. I am predicting that this semester has monumental potential. So far, I am enjoying each of my classes, which is amazing because my freshman year at Dillard University was a bust. I mean, don’t get me wrong, I’m not innocent. Once again , I know what I did wrong, so now I began my sophomore year with a clear head and organized priorities.

School is what you make it, and I am going to make this semester an awesome one. I am a Mass Communication/ Journalism major, and this semester I am taking my first class that involves my major entitled Basic News writing. This is very exciting for me. I love to write and in the Basic News writing  course, I’ll  be doing a lot of it.

I’m also taking an African World Study course, World Religion course, Volleyball, and Readings in World Literature course. I’m not really looking forward to the Volleyball course. I hate getting sweaty and funky, but I must say I am absolutely in love with my World Religion course. I attend the course on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 9 a.m. On those days I look forward to that class and what I’ll learn in it. My professor is so interesting, and I never feel my self nodding off although it is an early morning class.

I’m definitely looking forward to the remainder of the semester because it’s beginning wonderfully.
