I am the first college student in my family. My sibling and I have different views and goals in life. My parents died when I was 3 and 5. I have had many different challenges in my life. I’m very emotional due to this and my family doesn’t understand this. Going to college was something that has been a challenge for me. Being that I don’t have anyone to help me with issues that I come across. This has only made me want to go harder. I go hard for my education. I want to show my nieces and nephews that this is important and that I will do everything to help them with going to college. My teachers told me I wouldn’t make it to college and this has put a battery in my back. My story is important to my college journey because it helps me get through my school work
