I am the oldest of five children and also the first to go to college in my family. I knew the journey to my dream college and career would be hard when I began, and it hasn’t gotten any easier. Having transferred high schools four times, I had to deal with missing classes, not having enough credits, and a few other issues. I faced this challenge with determination. I am currently caught up with my classes and credits. Actually, I’m a bit ahead.
People talk about their parents and grandparents being alumni from their dream college, but I am out to start my own traditions, starting with my college degree, and being the first in my family to have one.
