Alivia in Aplington, IA

I grew up with split parents and have struggled with feeling like I belong. School is where I feel like I have a purpose so I am so excited to go to college and start something new! My parents never got the chance to go to school and my mother was left disabled from a brain aneurysm leaving her unable to work, walk, or drive. I want to pursue nursing in hopes to be able to help others and make my parents proud by being the first to go to college and graduate with a degree and hopefully pave a path for my younger sister to follow as well.
