Of course CSO has helped me financially, but it is been so much more than that. CSO and the people there have helped me by believing in me, and telling me that I do have a chance. Obviously I am the first in my family to go to college, but that also means I am the first to even consider going to college and making a new life for myself. It is not an easy task battling against the expectations other people have of you, and there are plenty times you feel alone. Feeling alone is the worst thing when you’re on a new path, with no clue of how it is going to turn out. You need that support, no matter where it comes from. CSO is a great support!
Being a part of this organization has given me the opportunity to help others, while also showing me that I am not alone. There are so many individuals out there that lack the support team that they need to go to college and succeed in life. Center for Student Opportunities is an organization that is there for those individuals, and the more that people know and talk about CSO, the more individuals they can help and the better the world will be. Don’t you want to be a part of that? Please support CSO and spread the word about this amazing organization.
Please donate to Center for Student Opportunity this holiday season and help underserved, first-generation college-bound students in their pursuit of college.
