Last semester went pretty well, but there is always room for improvement. I have a few simple resolutions that should help me do even better this semester:
1. Not missing any classes. It is easy to miss a couple classes. Sometimes this makes it harder to study for midterms/finals. If I want to get the best grade I can, I must go to every lecture. I’m paying 60k a year for these classes; why not get my money’s worth?
2. Work out more. Taking science classes, working, and being involved in clubs really makes it hard to do other things. Last semester, I hardly exercised. Now that I am taking some time out each day to play basketball I can feel how much of a difference it has on the rest of my day. I feel more energized and focused.
3. No fast food. I wasted too much money last semester eating unhealthy. This semester I am cooking more. This way, I can eat healthier and save money.
4. Stay organized. As the semester progresses, classes get harder. The harder the classes become, the harder it is to clean up. Those tiny messes add up and by the middle of the semester you look up and see so much clutter! It is hard to work in an environment that is messy and unorganized. I have to make sure as the semester continues, that I clean up every time I make a mess because I don’t want to be studying for midterms and not be able to find old notes. A clean apartment gives me a clear mind so I can focus on my work.
If I can implement these four points all semester long then I know for a fact that I will do well!
