I come from a very poor family that always had trouble supporting itself. When I was younger I promised myself I would grow up to be successful and not have any problems supporting my family. With this goal in mind, I set my goals in school high and I always did the best that I could in both my classes and extracurricular activities I participated in.
Today I still get the best grades possible and have maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout the past three years of high school. I still strive to be the best I can as Student Council President, National Honor Society President, Vice President of the Student Council, Captain of the Varsity Basketball team, and as a Big Brother in Big Brothers, Big Sisters. I plan on furthering my education at college next year to ensure the best life possible for myself and my children.
