It’s been a while since I’ve posted, I know. In the last week of February, when life’s throwing me for a loop, I thought it would be a good time to get back on track.
What better to get you on track than blogging about love in the month dedicated to the emotion?
I can’t say I love everything about college, but I challenge you to find someone who does. I can say, however, that during this February and even this semester, what I love most about college is the freedom my schedule gives me. It gave me the flexibility to, on Valentine’s Day (which was a Wednesday) to spend the day with my boyfriend and have a very nice and romantic day and evening. I got to make my classes all in the morning (and some of them don’t take attendance, so that’s a good bene), which allows me to have the whole day to do whatever it is I want to do.
It has allowed me, this semester, to get a job that I love right after my busiest days but also having time between classes and after work to hang with my S/O and my friends before it gets too late and without rushing, which, for a person basically obsessed with the premise of not having enough time to do everything I “need” to do within the 24 hours of a day, is a miracle and a blessing.
College is hard financially, academically, and motivationally, but if you’re lucky, your schedule has enough spaces for you to forget about it for a while, or at least get everything done you need to so you’re as relaxes and de-stressed as possible.
Good luck as the semester progresses, everyone!
