My name is Harley and Im First! No one in my family had ever attended college before me, so it was very scary for in the beginning to be the first. I attended vocational school for office occupations (secretarial work) while I was in high school and at first I thought that was maybe something I wanted to do. My teachers and family told me that I had so much more potential than just being a secretary. So I decided that I wanted to go to college and further my education. My family was very excited and wanted me to go since I was given the opportunity. Being the first college educated person in my family gives me a lot of pride because I am able to make my life better and succeed in my future.
