All of my life, my parents have pushed me to work as hard as I can in school. Ever since I was little, they were always telling me that it was on my shoulders to be the first in our family to go to college and get a degree. I’m excited and proud to say that now, as a high school senior, I’m on track to go to college. My message to others like me is to not give up, even when there’s pressure on you and you’re scared. Work your hardest and make yourself and your family proud. I can’t wait until I can say that I got a college degree and fulfilled my parents’ dream for me.
